Processes

Introduction

Over the years, Komax Systems acquired broad processing know-how.
Making extraordinary investments in research and engineering, we managed to consolidate our technology leadership and constantly develop it with new processes.
Just to name a few:
  • Soldering and welding
  • Forming
  • Pressing
  • Image processing
  • Robot integration
  • Joining
  • Process monitoring
  • Processing of punching-strips / tool manufacturing
  • Riveting
  • Screw attachment
  • Processdesign and Projectmanagement
Komax Systems will evaluate any new process requirement that your project requires.

soldering welding

Soldering and welding

are two core processes in the assembly of electrical and electronic components. Soldering can involve the use of a soldering iron, flame, laser and vapor phase while welding can be done using ultrasonic, laser and resistance techniques. The seamless integration of the corresponding processing stations is there-fore critical to success.

Image processing

Komax Systems uses image processing systems both for integrated locationfinding and quality control. Visual checks are used for the simple recognition of good and bad parts, but also for the determination of statistics.

Robot integration

A robot is often the most efficient solution for executing highly complex handling and positioning tasks. Komax Systems can integrate a wide variety of robot systems to maximize the flexibility of your assembly line.

Processing of punching-strips / tool manufacturing

Careful processing of high-quality punching-strips is a core competence of Komax Systems. The corresponding punching and bending tools are developed in-house and manufactured on the latest machines.

Processdesign

Processdesign and Projectmanagement

At Komax Systems, professional service naturally also includes close collaboration with the customer during the design and manufacture of assembly lines. Multi-stage project management with clearly defined release criteria ensures that the agreed specifications, delivery dates and cost framework are observed.
It goes without saying that Komax Systems is ISO 9001:2000 certified.
Komax Systems helps customers to design the products requiring assembly and the associated processes in a manner that is suitable for automation. To achieve the optimum degree of guaranteed functionality, FMEAs (Failure Mode Effect Analyses) are also carried out.
Under this simultaneous engineering approach, any changes in basic conditions can be taken into account during the design phase.
