Xcell 2500
Combining tabber/stringer
with IR soldering
Introduction
The Xcell 2500 redefines
solar cell stringing with its unique and very innovative ribbon, cell and string handling. While providing
an excellent price to performance ratio, the Xcell 2500 is a new dimension in flexibility, diversity,
quality and productivity.
Key features:
- For the operator’s benefit, all operational functions are performed on the same side of the machine.
- A load-while-run input conveyor carries cells in size-adjustable pallets into the machine without interrupting
the machine cycle.
- Convenient, sliding guard doors allow easy access from all sides of the machine.
- The pressurized flux container is secured to the lower outside of the machine base for easy access and
clear visibility.
- A color touch panel along with TopControl™, a fully-graphical user interface, provides easy to use interactive
assistance to set up and operate the machine
Function
The Xcell 2500, with its proven technology and its compact design, processes all
traditional mono- and polycrystalline solar cells up to 210 mm2, with 2 or 3 busbars. It is even possible
to process the new back contact cell generations with up to 5 busbars with no change in motion.
The
maximum throughput of the machine is 600 Cells/ Hour for a single, or 1200 Cells/ Hour for a double
configuration. Although it takes a minimum amount of floor space, its processing stations remain perfectly
accessible.
The Xcell 2500 is equipped as a standard with an IR-Lamp head.
The strings can be offloaded
into stationary trays or laid up directly onto glass.
