Kappa 210 / 220 – the optimal cutting and stripping machines
Introduction
Easy handling, short conversion and the integration of progressive technics distinguish these two machines. Customers are attracted to the Kappa 210 primarily because of its affordable price while the major appeals of the Kappa 220 are its extensive equipment and its many convenient interfaces.
Area of applications
All three automatic strippers allow a perfect cutting and stripping of single wires and special wires and are covering an extremely wide range of cross-sections. By stripping in partial cuts, extremely big stripping lengths can furthermore be processed. The Kappa 220 is also supporting the wire marking.
Technology
CNC controlled
The CNC controlled cutting heads and pressure rollers guarantee optimal movement sequences and allow the processing parameters to be stored. Any adjustments while converting become unnecessary.
Quick Change Tool
All wire guide parts are fitted with a quick acting closure. They can be mounted very easily without any tool.
Graphic User Interface
The graphic LC display provides ideal support for setting-up and operating. Various languages can be selected on-line and the keyboard allows fast data input.
Parallel Processing
As an optional feature, the machines can process two wires parallel to each other, thus doubling production output while maintaining the same quality.
Interfaces
Standardised inputs and outputs allow the troublefree triggering of peripheral equipment.
Economy
By storing up to 150 various wires, recurring orders are set-up in a matter of seconds. This function coupled with the quick-change guide parts guarantee economical performance for all series, large and small. Interfaces open the way to control the Kappa 220 and 230 by a higher-level computer system for a just-in-time production.
